Metro Bird Bath an Upcycle Project by KissMyConfusion™

KissMyConfusion™ Recycle! Reclaim! Redefine!

I love birds. My upcycle green project is to use decorative items and repurpose them and in this case: For The Birds.

"The Metro Bird Bath" can also be used to float flowers and candles for a romantic or spiritual moment.

Will they come?

I found it insulting for the media to keep referring to the oil spill and the leak.
Finally it is being called what it really is: A Gusher!

A spill is what happens when the child drops a sippy cup. It was spilled.
A leak is what happens in the home to a facet, which is a plumbing problem.

A gusher is what we have and it is a huge man-made disaster.

So here I sit at home in Northwest Arkansas waiting for the hurricane season to begin and the winds to possibly bring to perch on one of my damaged trees from past storms, a refugee.

Will it be a brown pelican?

Seagulls are what usually arrive during hurricane season but this year...  All survivors are welcome!

Only ostrich here is a paperweight.

KMC has owls

I live in a rural area where the owls nest. I have enjoyed years of staying up late to be a part of the serenade that takes place here in the woods.

So, I collect owls and have this precious brooch by Sara Coventry in my store at eCrater

The birds in the store include figurines, planters, paperweights, kitchen canisters and more.

Come on in and take a look around; Prices are reasonable.

I do combine on shipping.

My store is set up to only process with Google Checkout or PayPal.

Hallmark Spencer Sparrow Esq.

I like birds and this one from Hallmark: Spencer Sparrow Esq. is so cute. A little sparrow delivering love letters. He is in excellent condition and is marked on the bottom. Hallmark began this line in the 70s. I can't remember the exact year that the little postman was issued.

Trying to Reel it All In

It is April 20, 2010: I have been working all day trying to organize all the websites, blogs, twitters, etc. that I operate on the Internet.
Hopefully by the end of the week I will have a new path for marketing with better results.

I needed a more current post for today and hopefully soon some of my redirects are in place.
